Advanced Courses
Our advanced courses are available to all students who have
successfully completed the cycle of five intermediate courses.

400: Illumination and Huacha Clearing
Illumination is the primary healing form in Andean energy medicine.
Illumination is used to identify and heal physical, emotional, and
energetic traumas. Illumination shines light on imperfections and
negative imprints in the Luminous Energy Field, engages powerful,
natural methods of healing, enables the extraction of negative
energies, and brings us back into proper balance and robust health.

403: Ancestral Health & Wisdom
Have you noticed how issues tend to run in families? We blame genes
and family culture, but in a shamanic sense, family issues will follow us
across generations until resolved. Our ancestors can be our biggest
asset in life, bringing memory and wisdom from the past to the present,
but they can also be the cause of grief, pain, and consistent struggle as
their unresolved issues come forward into our lives. We learn and
practice techniques for healing the past so our ancestral energies can
appropriately work for our benefit, and we develop experience working
with our helpful ancestral spirits for the benefit of our present lives.

406: Plant Medicine
We introduce the world of plant medicine and plant spirits,
experiencing the life of plants, how to work with them,
and communicate with them. We shamanically work with plants, plant
essences, and plant spirit medicine. We learn about and honor ancient
traditions, medicinal and shamanic uses, and tree wisdom, as well as
share techniques for discovering new uses for medicinal plants and
plant spirits. We do not ingest plant medicine. We work with plants at
the level of spirit through shamanic journeying.

409: The Business of Energy Healers and Teachers
Are you ready to answer the call and step into the role of a healer or
teacher? In this course, we guide participants through the essential
legal and practical aspects of starting and running an esoteric
business. What laws apply to you? What licenses or permits do you
need? What business structures is best for your practice? Should you
have insurance? How do you navigate relationships with federal, state,
and local authorities? We cover all the key topics you need to know to
launch and sustain a successful, legally competent business in the
healing and spiritual arts.

401: Soul Retrieval and Reintegration
Physical, emotional, or energetic trauma can lead to soul loss. We
practice techniques for soul reintegration with an emphasis on
creating permanent, lasting, compassionate solutions. We cover
methods of identifying soul loss, finding soul parts, negotiating
successful reintegration, and essential after-care.

404: Science for the Modern Shaman
Shamanism is the oldest science, predating early Egyptian and Greek
science by nearly 40,000 years. In this course, we study and experience
the convergence of modern science and ancient wisdom. We learn
what the ancients thought about shamanism, then study the
increasing acceptance within modern science of shamanism and
energy healing. We learn about the key elements of science involved in
shamanic healing and how to use them to improve client outcomes.
This course features extensive experience using science with
traditional healing forms.

407: Stewardship of the Land and Place
The Earth has ancient wisdom to share. This class will deepen the
student’s understanding of the sacred relationship between humans
and the land and places we inhabit, exploring the ancient and timeless
practice of stewardship through the lens of shamanism. This
immersive journey will empower individuals to cultivate a deeper
connection with the natural world and enhance their ability to act as
conscious stewards of the earth, honoring and protecting the
sacredness of all places.
This class will challenge you to deepen your connection to the land,
your own ancestral roots, and your role as a protector of the earth in
these times of ecological crisis.

410: Capstone in Shamanic Practice
You have studied extensively and learned a wide range healing forms.
But how do you integrate what you have studied and practiced to
create the most effective practice and be of highest service for others?
In this highly experiential course, we learn how to synthesize healing
forms into a cohesive treatment plan. Using real-world examples, we
gain practical experience in identifying and healing a variety of
common, modern afflictions. This course emphasizes prevention,
treatment, and proper after-care to support lasting wellness.

402: Dying, Death, and Psychopomp
A transformative introduction to end-of-life skills, this weekend
prepares the shamanic practitioner to provide support and counseling
for those preparing for transition. In our modern Western culture, death
is something to be feared. We dispel this myth and approach end-of-
life issues with courage and openness. We explore issues of family,
other traditions, and societal norms. We delve into pyschopomp and
how to effectively transition the earthbound out of this realm. Lastly,
we look into our own views and roles around death and make certain
we are properly prepared for our own eventual transition.

405: The Mesa, Ceremony, and Ritual
Since the first shaman walked the surface of the Earth Mother,
shamans have helped people understand, recognize, and participate in spiritual life through ceremony and ritual. We explore and experience
ceremonies for Birth, Rites of Passage, Marriage, Handfasting, Civil
Unions, and Death. We engage in rituals to celebrate celestial events
and learn of the many variations of the despacho and how, and when,
to use them.

408: Esoteric Anatomy for Shamans
Esoteric Anatomy is an in-depth exploration of the subtle energy
systems that underpin physical existence, including chakras,
meridians/marma points, the luminous energy field, and subtle bodies.
Students will learn to identify and work with these energy centers to
promote healing, well-being and spiritual growth. Students will gain
insights into ancient healing traditions and modern energy medicine
and this course is ideal for deepening understanding of the
interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.

499: Advanced Residency
Students desiring a Certificate of Completion in Advanced Study must
attend two Advanced Residencies. Residencies are two and a half days
in length and are offered twice per year in Colorado. Residencies
provide actual, hands-on experience with your fellow students and
instructors.
